Secret place for the slaughter of pigs was dismantled in Medellín.
The Metropolitan Police Commander, Brigadier General Yesid Vasquez reported that police officers found the Environmental and Ecological site located in the neighborhood Popular 1.
"The meat was handled under conditions that are unsuitable for health," said the officer.
In the operation were arrested five men, four of them near the scene just when shipped in a van several pigs have been slaughtered in another sector housing.
"The fact that they are vultures and all materials are disposed of this sacrifice of the fleshremain there, then any human being who consume this meat is going to put your health at risk," said General Vasquez.
At the site inspection were found 850 kg of pork.
